Our Story
A community dedicated to unlocking the potential of every student and guiding them toward a future defined by purpose, skill, and impact.
Our Mission
SWAG Mentorship was founded with a clear vision: to create a space where students are not just taught, but truly seen, heard, and equipped for the world ahead.
Under the leadership of Dr. Cynthia Addoquaye Tagoe, SWAG has grown into a thriving community that bridges the gap between academic life and real-world success — offering students the mentorship, tools, and confidence they need to chart their own path.
We believe that every student carries the potential for greatness. Our role is to walk alongside them and help that potential take shape.
Our Values
We push our mentees to achieve the highest standard in everything they pursue.
Honesty and ethics are at the core of every relationship and interaction within SWAG.
No one succeeds alone. We build bonds that last well beyond the mentorship program.
We embrace continuous learning and celebrate every milestone along each mentee's journey.
What We Do
SWAG Mentorship runs structured, intentional programs designed to support students at every stage of their academic and professional journey.
Personalized mentoring sessions between Dr. Addoquaye Tagoe and individual mentees, covering academic goals, career planning, and personal development. Meetings are scheduled regularly to track progress.
Regular group workshops on topics such as research methodology, professional writing, CV preparation, interview skills, and self-leadership — open to all current mentees.
Our alumni network plays an active role in the program — sharing experiences, providing career insights, and creating pathways for current students through referrals and networking events.
Each year, SWAG Mentorship celebrates the achievements of its mentees and alumni through a formal gathering, recognizing academic excellence and community contributions.
