Our Story
A community dedicated to unlocking the potential of every student and guiding them toward a future defined by purpose, skill, and impact.
Our Mission
The SWAG Mentorship Programme was founded in response to the untapped potentials of the youth against a general lack of knowledge, preparation, needed skills and guidance to navigate their personal, academic and professional pathways.
Under Dr. Cynthia Addoquaye Tagoe's leadership, The SWAG Mentorship Programme has grown into a thriving community that closes the gap between academic life and real-world success, giving students the needed guidance, counsel, tools and confidence to chart their own path.
We believe every student carries the potential for greatness. Our job is simply to walk beside them as that potential takes shape.
Our Values
We push our mentees to achieve the highest standard in everything they pursue.
Honesty and ethics are at the core of every relationship and interaction within SWAG.
No one succeeds alone. We build bonds that last well beyond the mentorship programme.
We embrace continuous learning and celebrate every milestone along each mentee's journey.
What We Do
SWAG Mentorship Programme runs structured, intentional programmes designed to support students at every stage of their personal, academic and professional journey.
Personalised sessions with Dr. Addoquaye Tagoe covering academic goals, career planning, and personal development, with regular meetings to track progress along the way.
Regular workshops open to all mentees, covering research methodology, professional writing, CV preparation, interview skills, and self-leadership.
Our alumni stay actively involved — sharing their experiences, offering career insights, and opening doors for current students through referrals and networking events.
Each year, the SWAG Mentorship Programme brings mentees and alumni together to celebrate the year's achievements, recognising academic excellence and contributions to the community.
